Outland spouse sponsorship without Option C

Hi everybody,

My canadian wife and I (Spaniard) are currently living in Spain and we are filling out all the documents to apply for PR outland.

We had almost ready when we saw the point 17 of IMM5491E where it says you have to provide an original "option C printout".

Our problem is that as she is not living in canada since may 2011 she wouldn't have that form for 2012. We read that you can provide an explanation as to why she doesn't have one. We both file taxes in Spain.

Could there be any problem in processing our application as she doesn't have that option c?

no - it's not a problem. If you're not living in Canada, you won't have an Option C. As long as you provide and explanation of your income ( well, your wife in that case), then it's OK.

Principal applicant 1 $475
Family member who is under 22 years and who is not married, engaged or in a common-law relationship 1 $150

Right of Permanent Residence Fee Number of persons Amount per person
Principal applicant (Spouse/common-law partner) 1 $ 490

What about my eldest son who isn't accompanying, should we pay for him? What is that $550 for?

Would it be $1190 all in all except the $550?
