I have a unique circumstance on hand. My American husband is living and work in Canada on a work visa tied to his current employer in current location (Toronto). He has new job offer (should receive it officially sometime next week). We have filed his Outland sponsorship (still awaiting AOR). Once we receive the job offer, we plan to file a new NAFTA work permit request. I have a couple questions:
- will filing a new Nafta work permit in anyway impact the Outland sponsorship?
- does my husband need to renounce is his other work permit and do we need to notify CIC of this? As part of outland sponsorship, CIC, we included copies of current work permit.
