Hi,

My parter (USC) and I (Canadian Citizen) are considering applying for PR in Canada through the outland application in order to allow for the flexibility of travel.

My question is that my wife would want to spend the majority of time living in canada with the option of traveling to the US (once every ~2months) for the duration of the application, my question is would this pose as an issue? Would the border question or deny entry to canada (assuming each trip is always booked with a return ticket until the PR is issued?)

I don't think there is any issue. US citizens seldom have the issue when they cross the border. (with no crimial record...etc)

Will you move back to Canada and stay here before the outland application is submitted?
If so, you do not even need to include proof of intend to relocate to Canada.
