Hello,

I am trying to bring my wife to Canada with me from Europe under family class sponsorship with a outland application and are both in Europe. Is it possible to bring my wife with me to Canada to wait even though the application is in process (we are waiting 13 months already and no response from the embassy yet). If it is possible, could they mail the: The confirmation of permanent residence and entry visa to us?

Has anyone done this scenario???

thanks

Yes, your wife can come visit. Is she visa-exempt? If she is visa-exempt, then you would just need to update CIC with the new mailing address, and the COPR will be mailed to you in Canada. No visa will be required if she is visa-exempt.

Does she require a visa? If she doesnt need a visa she can come and stay with you during the application.

Seems a long time for Europe, I think only Moscow is more than 14 months although I know each application is different but might be worthwhile requesting notes.
