Hi guys . I sponsored my wife in spousal category in june 2018. I applied in outland as she is not in canada. But incidentally i sent the documents at inland address and I didn’t know that this happened till now because everything was going ok. She recived medical request in oct 2018. After that we recive a letter in feb 2019 to provide some relationships and address proofs and we did so. Now we recive one more letter saying that provide any proof that we reside on same address in canada and thats the last chance they gave us. So how can I get it corrected. Is there any way to move inland file to outland

No, you can't switch between inland and outland, as they are different immigration streams.
You may need to engage a professional in order to figure out what to do next, as the situation appears to be something of a mess.

Is there a chance of correction or do i need to withdraw my application??
Because I tried to send a webform explaining that she never came to canada. Will that be enough?

When and where did you send your app?

When and where did you send your app?
I sent in june 2018 to the mississauga. As I figured out now that they have different address for inland and outland applications but i have sent outland application to address where inland applications are being processed

You need to establish exactly how IRCC are processing your application. Is it *really* being treated as a Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class application or have you misunderstood the communication(s) from IRCC. Hence the suggestion that you have a professional review everything with you.

I showed those letters to a professional and he said they processing my application as inland . Also it didn’t come to Delhi high commission. According to him it usually happens within 2 months after filling a outland application. So he adviced me to send a webform and i did . And after sending that webform i got a letter saying that I’m approved as a sponsor. Does that mean it got corrected? Can i call cic and ask is it corrected ? Will they answer that ?

If they ARE processing it as an "inland" application, it's doomed to failure, as both the sponsor and principal applicant must be cohabiting in Canada for the whole period of the application process. Clearly, you are not.

You can certainly call the IRCC’s Call Centre and ask them exactly what they doing with the application.

I sent in june 2018 to the mississauga. As I figured out now that they have different address for inland and outland applications but i have sent outland application to address where inland applications are being processed

In June 15 or 17 2018 they changed the address for outlined to sydney, Nova Scotia and Many people sent files by mistake to the old address in June and Mississauga just forwarded to the right address or return it to them. You should be fine if you really sent outland.
And to make sure you can call and ask about your application

Thanks for your help .. just a last thing i need to know . Is there any chance they will correct it if i do some efforts or should i just withdraw and refile it . Or just wait for the final decision?

I don’t think so this happened in my case because i got two letters from them to proof that we are cohabiting on the same address in canada . Also on the top of the letter with file number ~inland~ is written

I wouldn't think that sending an application to Mississauga would automatically make it inland. I think that's why applications that were sent there by mistake were then forwarded to the right place. Do you have a copy of your application? Is there anything that you might have done while filling the application to make it seem like an inland application? If in the form you selected outland and filled in the application (correctly) as an outland, then it should have either been processed as an outland or forwarded/returned if received at the wrong address. There would not be a basis for them to process forms for an outland application as inland.

If you are entirely sure that you applied outland and it is being processed as inland, then you need to contact them, contact your MP.

"In June 2018, we changed our mailing addresses. Depending on your situation, you will need to send your application to our office in Mississauga or in Sydney. If you send your application to the wrong address, it will be sent back to you. Find out which address is right for you in the instruction guide."

Thanks alot for help. I checked everything again today and i found my mistake. Its on the checklist I selected the wrong box ( living in canada with spouse and it says the address to send thats where i have sent the file) but in the file all the documents are correct. Did the checklist made it inland ? Should i send the correct checklist aging to them now ? Will that help ?
