Hi guys

I hope you are all doing great

I am currently in Canada with my wife. My wife is a
citizen. I have been here fr the last 10 years. I have
not exited the country.

I am originally from Iran and my current passport is Iranian.

I want to send an OUTLAND application while
continuing to stay in Canada. I have been told this is
possible.

Can I the visa office for my application?

Or does it have to be the Iran visa office?

The problem is that if I go back to Iran for an interview,
I may be recruited to the military.

Iran has compulsory military service.

I have lived for many years in UAE as well.

Can I choose the UAE visa office for my applications processing?

Can I choose any visa office, anywhere in the world I want?

I appreciate all your advice and help

Thanks

Koorosh

Do you have legal status in Canada right now?

No - you can't chose any office in the world to process your application. And you won't be able to chose the UAE since you are no longer living there and are not a citizen of that country.

If you don't want to return to Iran, you should apply inland.

Since the last form update you can't choose your visa office anymore.
You can apply Outland even living in Canada.
As far as I know, there's a chance of your application be hold on Mississauga office.

@Scylla...

Yes. I do have legal status in Canada right now.

@DanSlh

The problem is that I dont even see an office for Iran

So it may be held in Turkey or Syria

I am not sure at this point
