I came in as an Int’l student & got my PGWP upon completion last year. I applied for an extension in February but I got the rejection letter last week. However, I also got my provincial nomination. The issue here is I am currently out of status & to have it restored, I will need my employer to pay Compliance fee to IRCC before the province can issue a Work Permit Support Letter. Unfortunately, my employer does not offer such support.
So currently, I do not have any idea what my next steps or options are. Do I apply for PR since I have my PNP (but with no work permit)? Or is there any other pathway I can explore that can have my status restored?
Lastly, I have a visitors visa, valid till 2026. I will be looking forward to your response. Thank you
