I doubt if u will get it because you have to prove to them you wont overstay in canada like u have in the states and also they wanna know your status in the country you are applying from.yagana said:

No - you have zero chance of being approved. Don't even bother applying. Same goes for a work permit or visitor visa.

If you have a good reason why you overstayed. You have 100% chance. Many students who overstayed in UK or other countries got visa. Some even got call from the VO to provide the documents why they overstayed. If you verify, then sure what not.
