Out of status to Pr approved

sorry didn't notice the empty post. Tried to edit it but seems like I deleted the whole thing.
well it is a long story. I was a rejected Refugee few years ago and have not left since then. I did have a Work Permit alongside.
My permit was about to expire and as a last stray of hope, I applied for PR through my employer.
My understanding that I can't apply unless I leave Canada. however, I got the approval recently and was just wondering will there be any impact in the future regarding my Pr status.
