OUT OF STATUS Ontario Photo Card Renewal, Marriage in January

Hello

I am currently Out of Status in Canada

I am getting married to my wife in January and sending over the sponsorship forms inland asap after

However my Ontario Photo Card is expiring so soon and I dont have any other Canadian ID - this card has been so useful to me.

I wonder: can I renew my card while I am out of status? OR do you think Service Ontario will alert CBSA and I will not have the chance to get married ? I do not want to get a removal order before we get married in Jan and I really need to get my Ontario Photo Card renewed

Renew your Ontario Photo Card
Your Ontario Photo Card will need to be renewed every 5 years at a ServiceOntario centre.

To renew your Ontario Photo Card at a ServiceOntario centre you need to bring:

• renewal fee of $35
• an additional piece of ID (only if your Ontario Photo Card is expired)

Acceptable identity documents

You can apply for Spousal Sponsorship with out-of-status......but not sure about Ontario ID.
