So Dm on my side (sponsor) showed on ecas last weekend. Said correspondence sent feb 1st. No email even now. Finally got through to the call center and was told although they see no notice of correspondence being sent to me, it does show sponsor approved. Good news right? I thought so until he also told me our file was transfered AGAIN to oir local office for review. Ughhh!!
But most importantly, if u have been following...hubby went for monthly sign in with CBSA today and explained that we just heard file was transfered, our prra app is already submitted amd asked if its true CBSA can get IRRC to speed up sponsorship. Also explained how the lady officer in mississauga stated more than once they do NOT wait on decision for sponsorship to follow through with removal. Even tho i told her I've seen it happen for many people and also tbat the officer in our home city we originally dealt with said they would. The officer left my husband , came back and said she's not too sure about speeding up app but will look into it. She also said,,i dont know what u heard or where u heard it, but ur prra app has been suspended until a decision has been made on sponsorship. Hubby went in talking to her upset and worried and she saw this. She told him she hoped she made him feel better and to continue to sign in and behave and he should be fine.
I cant believe the officer in Mississauga at PRRA interview told us no. More than once too and had us all stressed out and worried for so long. Especially after hearing app was transfered. I knew she was talking crap saying they DONT wait but i figured we had no choice but to accept what she said as she was who we had to deal with.
Such a relief. Now the next stess...interview ..ughhh lol
