Out of Status and married

I have been married for 4 years and my husband and I are just applying for my status. I am currently filling out the Gereric Application Form For Canada. One of the question is "Current Country of Residence?" I stated Canada in my answer. The next question "Status?" Which I stated "Other" but now I have to explain "Other" should I put out of status?? Please help me....

Yes you need to indicate you are out of status or don't hold any status, and you need to show how long you've been out of status.

Note that if you're applying inland while out of status, most likely you won't be able to qualify for new pilot program to get OWP quickly, and will need to wait until your full stage 1 approval/AIP (17 months) before you are able to apply for your OWP.
