Dear All-
I need some advice on my tax filing requirement whether its needed to have your taxes filed for the OSAP funding from the perspective of a new immigrant.
I shortly landed with my family in Ontario in 2016 January. I have not filed my taxes since then as I am staying outside of Canada. I have no ties currently with Canada (no driving license, no address etc.) for the purpose of tax residency. I am planning to return back next year and enroll in a masters course in one of the Ontario Universities.
So I was just wondering whether this non filing of taxes will have any impact on the OSAP funding for my masters.
