Does the original of all identity and relationship documents contain national identification documents of the country of nationality?

Should the original national identification card be left at the IRCC?

Assume I have these files.
Submit Completed Forms and these originals to a IRCC Office.
Then does a IRCC official require that the originals of these documents be kept in the IRCC office?
Or does the IRCC only check the originals of these documents？
Or only keep the passport in the IRCC office?
When will the other original documents be returned?
