Please send your response urgently :)

how long before they do send back the original transcripts as I am planning to apply for both seskatchewan and regina?

they will not send u back original transcript..
you can issue more transcripts from ur institute, may be they can take some extra charges for them

original transcripts and original mark sheets r two different things......do u know what transcripts mean? transcripts are attested copies of marksheets which r attested by ur university only put in an envelop and sealed stamped and signed on the overlaps. do not send them original marksheets how ever u will have to send them transcripts ..so when u ask ur university for transcripts ask for 5-10 transcripts depending on how many universities/colleges ur applying.

Get a duplicate transcript issued from your university. At least that's what i did when i applied for Concordia University.

Transcripts are always original as they are provided by your university in a sealed envelope. Only those are valid. If you have opened them and then photocopied them and are trying to send then its quite rare that a university will accept them. However, my university had asked for two transcripts (one original and one copy - I don't know what they mean by that) I just sent them one in the sealed envelope and it worked. Maybe they made a copy of the original docs inside.

hey guys thanks for your replies... just another query.

I have a masters degree from UK and a bachelors from India, hence is it possible that if I get my UK university to send a transcript then the same is accepted without any need to send my bachelors as Cal Univ may now send one to Canada.

Pls share u r feedback :)

Thanks once again

Well try sending your university an email and ask whether only the masters transcript will suffice. Also explain your situation

some universities may be ok with it but its a good idea to get indian university transcripts. if ur in india u can go to the university and get the transcripts if ur out side india do as i did i applied through post (mine is unversity of pune) ....see if u can apply for transcript by mail u can also set up courier service to pick up transcripts from ur university in india and deliver it to u or canada

UoP is good but not all universities are that awesome in service. CoEP issued me 4 transcript copies in in 2 days too whereas some universities take 15 days and demand docs collection by hand. Check with your universities. My Canadian university asked me for "transcripts of last 2 degree courses attended". Also as mead says, its a good idea to get indian university transcripts. Its better to submit more docs than fall short of docs while applying.
