oh, if you haven't seen one, yours might be in English. What country are you from?

I agree with BobbyB, nearly all of them are in English, at least the ones i have seen from India, Honkkong, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. I don't know about China, i can ask my friends here.

The transcript is just a marksheet that lists all the classes that you have taken and the grade that you got.
Its on the cic website
look at number 6 http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf

The above is for the buffalo visa office.

Rupeshhari,
Is yours in AFRIKAAN?

nee man, dis in engles (i think i am getting the spelling really wrong here). I went to an English university in all the countries i studied in.
Its all in English but i can imagine those who went to Afrikaans university in the olden days will get it in Afrikaans, but getting a translation is probably easy.

I am from India and all my marks cards/ and other education docs are in ENGLISH

the buffalo office says
"Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed
envelopes"

What sealed envelopes ?

This needs to be clarified who has submitted document to buffalo office and has seen his application pass.

ANYBODY????????????

So your transcript will definitely be in English. Thus, it must be in a sealed envelope.

I am bothered by "sealed envelope" . Does this mean if i have the original english mark sheets and certificate, i JUST NEED TO PUT IN AN ENVELOPE and send it?

No,
You have to request this from the college or university where you studied. They will put that into an envelope and seal it with a stamp. You may have to pay some fee for that.

ADA Man , U are from India. Photocopy all the Certs and whatever you have from your school and send it to one of your family members, Request them to go to your UNI and apply for it. Job done.(Becos U r from ....u may have to pay....)

Has anyone got transcript of Master in TESOl from Victoria University as it is required in the immigration checklist A? We will ask Univer to send it to us or direct to Visa Office?
Hope ur respond soon

send it to you. you will send it with all your documents to the visa office.

If transcripts are in other language than English. The translation of the same in English has to be stamped by the University and both English translation and original transcripts be put in the envelope, sealed by the University and stamped. It is ridiculous process but it has to be done.

Folks

I just found out from my friend about transcripts. There is no need for us who have marksheets in english.
Look at his response for "Do i need to get transcripts from university? What did you do?"

"Yes , I submitted notarized copies of all my marksheets along with my certificates 2 times. The first time each of my marksheets and certificates went individually notarized and the second time , the important documents were separately notarized while the marksheets of a particular class were grouped together and then done like for example my MCA has 8 marksheets , all were notarized in a group with a sheet attached on top."

This friend of mine is in CANADA after getting is PR last year.

i am checking with him.
