Greetings
I'm supposed to be able to obtain this information from the guides... but since said guides can't be accessed to due dysfunctional PDF's I will throw the question out here.

I'm a Canadian (born) citizen trying to sponsor my lovely wife Kitty in a foreign country. My wife is still stuck where she is - and we are now getting different answers from the so-called agents when it comes to her signatures.
One so-called agent says that her signatures on the forms need to be her original, and she needs to mail them to me by land mail; and another so-called agent says no, that's not true, she can sign them, and then electronically scan them and then send them via email.
And then the third group of so-called agents don't want to answer the question and tell you to go to the guides that do not work with Internet Explorer or Firefox.
It's all really silly.
We appreciate any input on this matter.

I don't know what you are looking at but the guide is not a PDF and loads perfectly fine in IE and Firefox. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...l-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

Signatures

If signatures are missing, we will return the application without processing it.

Note: IRCC will normally accept forms with photocopies of signatures. However, you may be asked to provide the original copy of your forms with an original signature if an IRCC officer determines it is necessary.

Actually the guide(s) I'm referring to are the ones that are supposed to pertain to each form. And it seems one can't speak to the so-called IRCC officer on the phone.
It's okay. I've given up on getting straight answer about anything.

There really is no need to look at any guide but the one provided. If you start searching around for other stuff, you will likely end up on a page not meant for spousal sponsorship. Not sure why you are giving up when I provided you with the answer.
