original passport request - need help

Hi,

I submitted online application on Sept 17th, 2013. Today I received a notice saying 'originl passport required'. I applied for Canada VISA to go to my L1 VISA stamping. I applied Canada VISA for myself and my wife. I have couple of questions.

1. I have 2 passports. My old passport expired on Dec, 2012. Shall I need to send both old and new passports?
2. Can I send my passport and my wife passport in the same envelop.
3. For United states, the portal showing up 2 locations. My current location is Chicago. Where to send my passport? Newyork or Los Angels. Please confirm.

You got a passport request for stamping? I applied on Aug1st online, but havent got any passport request. please advise.

Please send both old and new passports since you would have provided details of both.
Yes, you can send in same envelope. Mention application number for reference.
Which consulate location did you file? New york or Losangeles???please send to the location you filed your application.
