Dear All,

Is there any difference in "Abdul Karim" and "Karim, Abdul" while mentioning on the application form?

My father name is Abdul Karim, As there is no family name in his name I mentioned "Abdul Karim" as his given name and "N/A" as Family Name. But on my Passport it is written as "Karim, Abdul" under the Father Name. Here it seems that "Karim" is family name. I have already filled the forms with "Abudul Karim" as given name and "N/A" as family name.

And for my own name where required in one field, I mentioned as "Muhammad Saim Malik", should it be "Malik, Muhammad Saim" or both are fine?

Thanks,
Saim

Please advise, as I have already filled the forms and going to submit my application. Should I change the names as discussed above OR this doesn't matter?

Thanks again,
Saim

Hi,

You should give the name exactly as entered in your passport.

If no family name say " None"
Given name : as in the passport

fathers name : as given in your passport.

Other names: You should provide proof if you give any other names.

Do you have any problem for getting your family name added in your passport before submitting your application?. If possible, I suggest to get it corrected by your passport office.
