Hello everyone,

I applied last year under CEC but my file was returned in January since the cap was reached. I created my Express Entry Profile beginning of this year for which the details are provided below. I am currently working with an automotive company as a designer. I have talked to my employer in regards to LMIA but because the median wage for NOC # 2232 is at $28.85 for my region they are resistant. My work permit is only till the end of December this year-2015. With all the draws that have been happening; I haven't seen the score dip down enough to get an ITA.

Mentioned below is the breakdown of my profile:

Federal Skilled Worker Met
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met
Canadian Experience Class Met
Federal Skilled Trades Not Met
Overall Score 434
CRS - Human Capital - Age 110
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 120
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 113
CRS - Human Capital - Second Official Language Proficiency 0
CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience 53
CRS - Spouse - Level of Education 0
CRS - Spouse - First Official Language Proficiency 0
CRS - Spouse - Canadian Work Experience 0
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 38
CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 0
CRS - Skill Transferability - Certificate of Qualification 0
CRS - Arranged Employment 0
CRS - Provincial/Territorial Nomination 0
Express Entry Profile Effective Date 31-January-2015
Express Entry Client Expiry Date 31-January-2016

My NOC# 2232

IELTS breakdown:

Speaking 8.5
Reading 7
Listening 8
Writing 6

I am going to write IELTS again; trying to improve my score.

I am currently on my PGWP after graduating from a 3 year diploma.

Please suggest what other options do I have to stay in Canada?

Thank you all.

Thanks for mentioning that...

From that input I am already gonna re-take my IELTS exam. I do not qualify for OOPNP even though I have 400+ score because I have a 3 year diploma not a bachelor degree.

Are there any other options that I can exploit?

But this score will surely land you an ITA before DEC 2015 so do not worry.

As far as your score is concern you can improve in 2 sections of IELTS 2 bump your score by few more points and that will surely give you a relief...
So go for IELTS retake...

Thanks.... ;) ;)

You still have some time, the score has not dipped that low but it might before Dec. Do your English test again and you'll be fine.

Express Entry Profile Effective Date 31-January-2015

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_HOW.html

June 1st Restriction
At this time Ontario can only search the Express Entry Pool for candidates who meet Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities stream criteria and who have submitted an Express Entry profile on or after June 1st 2015.

So, if you would like the chance to receive an OONP ITA, you would have to delete your profile and re-submit, otherwise, OONP cannot even find you...
