I'm currently working in Canada on PGWP-basis. My PGWP expires mid January 2021.
My spouse wants to come to Canada on Study permit for the fall/September term of 2020 or winter/January term 2021.
What are my options to continue working legally in Canada assuming my spouse was successful in getting a study permit before my PGWP expires?

Let's say the study permit of my spouse is valid from Jan/2021 through Jan/2022, and my current PGWS expires Jan/2021, and I want to extend my work permit for the duration my spouse's study permit. Will that be viable and how?

Yes, if your spouse is approved and comes to Canada on a study permit, you can apply for a work permit based on her status.
