options of applying for Canadian immigration for a Software Engineer

I have 7 years of experience in IT industry I am not a manager, am a team lead currently working for over 3 years in US on H1B.
i do not have any job offer from Canadian employer, nor do i have a relative in Canada.
What are the options for applying for canadaian immigration ?

Alberta immigration program, FSW1 if you fit the ministerial list criteria and CSQ if you know french.
