I am going for Biotechnology Advance Diploma (3Years) with optional Co-Op from Seneca College, and while filling the forms I found the question on CIC website "Is work an essential component of your studies?" What should I tick on it YES/NO so as (Co-Op) it is optional I am confused?
I ALSO HAD ADMISSION INTO SENECA COLLEGE AND ALGONQUIN COLLEGE. I LATER CHOSE ALGONQUIN COLLEGE BECAUSE IT HAD MANDATORY CO-OP. FOR SENECA, YOU ONLY APPLY FOR WORK PERMIT IN CANADA. HERE, BEFORE YOU APPLY, YOU HAVE TO PUT "NO" BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO "WORK REQUIREMENT LETTER" TO SHOW FROM SENECA.
right now I am going through the same confusion but in my case I have a supporting letter from my college where it mentioned that "it is optional Work Experience program opportunity afforded to learners studying the program. A learner must undertake their work term after completion of all mandatory program requirements" and details about the work exp. course. now what should i do? Do i need to tick yes or no?
