OPTION C PRITN OUT

Hi I be sending my file soon by mid of January 2011 to Mississauga office, I just called in to Canada revenue agency and got my option c print out for 2009 as that's latest assessment and I stay in Ottawa, On. My spouse I am sponsoring stays in India. Our file will be transferred to New Delhi(India) and as many have mentioned and as per the site the time line is 6month or so if everything goes good.

The question I have is I will be submitting for Income tax 2010 probably its on April or May rite for Canada, will they ask me to provide the assessment and latest tax info for 2011 while my file is in process. or once its gone or transferred to New Delhi, India....... they wouldn't ask for any tax document. what do u guys say.

There is no requirement to submit your tax assessments for a spousal application. The only document specifically requested is the most recent option C print out.

Hi Lama,

Your application will only be in canada for about a month anyways and once you are accepted as a sponsor they don't worry about that anymore... So I would not worry at all as tax season is coming but not yet here... You will be ok with Option C... You will be ok with Option C print out of 2009.
