I just wanted to know what the option c printout looks like? I received my papers from Canada Revenue but it doesn't say option c it says income tax return information - regular. Is this the right form?
Hi Foster, the option C printout is on white paper and at the bottom there should be a sentence starting with the word "Reproduction" followed by a hyphen and then the rest of a sentence. I do not believe it actually says option c on it anywhere so it can be a bit confusing. Hope this helps. Blessings.Foster said:I just wanted to know what the option c printout looks like? It doesn't say anywhere about "Reproduction" it says "Released at the request of an authorized individual in accordance with Section 241 of the Income Tax Act"CdnandTrini said:Hi Foster, the option C printout is on white paper and at the bottom there should be a sentence starting with the word "Reproduction" followed by a hyphen and then the rest of a sentence. Ok, so did you make a phone call to the specific number CIC provides at CRA to make the request for the option C printout? If you did and you have a cover letter then it is probably the option C. Mine took about 2-3 weeks to arrive by mail. What is the small number showing on the bottom left hand side? Usually this is the "form" # so maybe we match those up .Foster said:It's 3 pages one is the cover letter and then 2 pages are for my income tax info.
I called Canada Revenue just now to confirm if this is Option C and they said yes it is. The form# is RC143-1 ECdnandTrini said:Ok, so did you make a phone call to the specific number CIC provides at CRA to make the request for the option C printout? YAY!!! Yes that is the form number . Do you think they would ever think of printing the words "Option C" on the actual form? No that would make too much sense for all of us.Foster said:I called Canada Revenue just now to confirm if this is Option C and they said yes it is. The form# is RC143-1 E
LOL I agree but I actually asked the customer service rep why do they request an option C when really it's called something else. He told me it's because the screen they have to go to to print it is called option C lol! Silly!CdnandTrini said:YAY!!! Yes that is the form number . I donno if the other countries require the same amount of pictures. you can find more information here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp by finding your country.
