I am a Canadian Married to an Egyptian, I am sponsoring him to come to Canada. My question is, If I am married to him do I still need to provide the Option C, Notice of assessment or Financial Evaluation. Also I am living in Egypt with him , he is working I am not. I have included my last three years of T4 slips to prove I had a steady Job in Canada, and my old pay stubs. I also included 3 job offer forms to show I have the abililty to work upon return to Canada.
I am just confused about what financial papers I need to include, because I have been reading mixed reviews saying I dont need to prove my income if we are married?
Thanks!

This is from cic website where a canadian citizen can sponsor spouse or not

If I live outside Canada, may I sponsor?

If you are a Canadian citizen, you may sponsor a spouse, a common-law partner or conjugal partner, or a dependent child who has no children of his or her own. However, you must demonstrate that you will live in Canada when the sponsored person becomes a permanent resident.

Note: Permanent residents residing abroad may not sponsor from outside of Canada. Canadian citizens travelling as tourists are not considered to be residing abroad.

Because you are sponsor you need to provide all of them and intention to live in canada and financial papers .If you have any job offers also include them
