Option C Marital Status and Number of Years

We called the Canada Reveneu Agency and we requested for an Option C, my spouse was told that her Marital status is Single and she should update it to Married and this status will also appear on the Option C.

We are not sure if they changed the marital status and this is going to appear on the Option C, can this create any problem at Stage 1 of spousal sponsorship when they see that my spouse is married.

Also We asked for an option c for the last 4 years, or just the last year 2012 is sufficient?

Mine showed me as being single and my SA was granted without difficulty.

Also We asked for an option c for the last 4 years, or just the last year 2012 is sufficient?

The Doc. Checklist says you only need it for "the most recent taxation year".
