Opinion Needed: It wouldn't be wise to start course online even with an AIP given that there are rejections after receiving an AIP, right?

Hey so my college has asked me submit my visa status for my course starting in Jan 2021. I have an AIP but i want to defer to May 2021. I will respond to them that i have an aip but will also say that since aip doesn't mean that i'll definitely get a visa (people have getting rejections even after getting aip), i want to defer to May 2021. If i start and then don't get a visa then there's absolutely no point to study right now. Sounds valid, right? What are some other good reasons you think i can put forward?

Hey! I'm in the middle of the 2-way courier process and was wondering at which address does the passport return to? I'm residing at a different address than the one in my passport.

Nothing sounds valid. You can be rejected even after PPR and even if you manage to survive that you can get rejected for PGWP as in case you find a useful job that is. Call the CVAC where you sent your passport and try validating your questions from them, I believe you require validation every minute or so since you are the only VIP client of IRCC.
