Hi

Those that are applying for FSW1,2,3 or should read the following OB about how the visa offices will deal with the applications. You should especially read the information regarding extensions requests and the information in the reference letters where it is a copy of the NOC.

Thanks. this is very useful to know.

Applicants should note "Descriptions of duties taken verbatim from the NOC should be regarded as self-serving. Presented with such documents, visa officers may question whether they accurately describe an applicant’s experience. A document that lacks sufficient detail to permit eventual verification and a credible description of the applicant’s experience is unlikely to satisfy an officer of an applicant’s eligibility."

Great.. Thanks

Interesting,

" While visa officers must exercise diligence at the final determination stage, they should also complete this stage quickly, i.e. ideally less than two weeks after the 120 day BF date set by the CIO."

Based on that, I assume their target was to completed the Initial Review at Visa Office by your 120 days deadline (your deadline for complete submission at visa office) + 2 weeks. After this your e-case either goes to IN PROCESS or WITHDRAWN.

thanks PMM for great link.

This is interesting but whether visa office really sticks to it. Not in my case. My application since 7th May at London visa office ecas states " CIO Review Completed. Application received by Visa Office". It is now almost 1.5 months, nothing has changed. No AOR from Visa office. Could London applicants give their status. CIO Sydney approval date 16 Jan- 120 days start FSW 1.
