Open work permit with inland sponsorship - no status

Hi all,

We submitted the OWP application along with the inland sponsorship application in Oct 2018. When I call and check the status online, I can see the progress of the PR application (which started being processed in Nov), but no acknowledgment on the OWP. So far, I haven't received any communication regarding the OWP, I'm not sure if they even received my application.

Is this normal? Does anyone have a similar experience like that?

if you were out of status you cant have the OWP Till you got AIP which comes in 10 months in general , sorry to told you this you will need to wait , im in the same situation ...good luck

I always thought the OWP comes in 4-5 months after the submission. 10 months is much longer than I expected...

Hi, just want to give an update. I just received an email stating that the OWP is approved.
I hope you will get yours soon, too.
