Yet you still suggested that I was wrong and the person had implied status from the WP. To clarify please apply for visitor record before the 6 month is up if you haven’t received a WP to remain in status.
I have applied for my wife's open work permit on November 17th 2025. I received a confirmation of online application transmission that day. Only today have received a new update with a letter titled submission confirmation. I am wondering how these two updates are any different. Does that mean IRCC has just started processing the application even though i submitted three months ago?
