Open work permit Under Public Policy Timelines

When I submitted my application in GC account. In my profile. UCI number not shown ... now UCI number is showing on my profile.. Now I have got another update. I received a letter from IRCC WP EXT except PGWP. pdf document stating my work permit was extended until June 8 2021 .. show this letter to your employer to auhtorize continue working. under same conditions.
I have a question about temporary work permit while processing.
My PGWP expired in september 2020 and I have applied for visitor visa and it's still pending. I submitted the application for PGWP extension on Feb 10th and I heard that people get temporary work permit while they're waiting. Do you guys think I will also get temporary work permit while processing or do I have to wait until application approved? I got job offer and they want me to work as soon as possible, I'm worried that I could miss this chance.
