Open work Permit(Spouse Visa)

Hi Members,
I'm student visa in Canada and I have applied open work permit for my wife in mid of August'18. I haven't received any update yet. Can anyone let me know which month files are being processed currently if someone have been asked to submit the passport.
And how long it took.

Seems like they are processing May/June. As an international student your spouse is not guaranteed SOWP. People don't realize that allowed to apply doesn't men that all spouses get the permit.
