Open work permit info request

hi
been working in canada for 5 yrs at a laundry facility
my contract is coming to ann end in August
can i file for Open Work Permit? i know my job is not classified as skilled but would like to still know the possibilities .....

Now you say you've been working at a laundry in Canada for 5 years....


You can't simply apply for an open work permit. Only people in certain situations qualify for an OWP, as explained here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=177&t=17.
