Open work permit got approved: TRV is require for extend mystay in Canada

I have came to Canada along with my husband as Visitor. My husband is skilled worker and have one year work permit and TRV. I have valid TRV (sticker) ( got In India) for one year, but at port of the entry they allowed me to stay for 6 months (Stamp) which is going to expire in 45 days. Last week, my open work permit got approved. I was wondering whether I need to apply for the TRV again to extend the my port of entry date.
Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as you don't leave Canada you don't need a TRV. There are some exceptions while travelling to the USA though....
