Is it possible for my spouse to be sponsored for an open work permit. I am in Canada on a study permit since last year, my spouse is eligible to apply for an open work permit but he does not have enough funds. I am being sponsored by my good friend and she is willling to sponsor my husband too so that we can be togather. Is it possibe for her to do this, send sponsor letter to the embassy with her bank statement. Anyone knowing if this is possible, can you please let me know. Thanks a lot.
