Open Work Permit for Spouse (I'm in Work Permit & PR in Process)

Hello Everyone,

I'm in work permit and going to India this week for my wedding. I'm currently in my Work Permit and I have applied for my PR through Canadian Experience Class. i have already given my Biometrics. I want to bring my wife to Canada at the earliest. What's the procedure?

1. I need to inform IRCC and make changes in my account from Single to married and add my wife's profile to my account.
2. In the meantime should I also apply for Open Work Permit for Spouse?

What are the documents required? Please advice on this.

You are NOT sponsoring her. You are adding her to your EE application.

As scylla suggested, post it at the EE section and in the foreign worker section for SOWP application. Do you have a job to come back to Canada? I think currently you cannot travel back without a job.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes I do have a job. I'm only going there on a vacation (for my wedding) and will be returning back.
