Hi everyone,

I'm international student, I just graduated from Canadian College. I'm planning to apply online to get the PGWP.. My wife and I are living in Canada, she has a Visitor Visa

My questions are:

1. Can I add her as a spouse when I apply for my PGWP?
2. Is my wife eligible to get an Open Work Permit?

Please I need the answers ASAP..

Thanks in advance

Omar :)

You need to obtain your PGWP first and secure a skilled job. Once you have a skilled job, your wife can apply for an OWP.

Hi Scylla

But since we both have the same valid time on our permits"I have study permits/she has a visitor record" both valid until March 31, 2014.

Also under her visitor record, there is Remarks/observations says Temporary Resident Status Maintained as PER R183. Accompanying spouse, Holder of Study Permit Valid To Same Date. MEM/QRC

Any Advice!

Thanks

She needs to extend her visitor status.
