Hello Forum members,
I have applied for the inland PR sponsorship (5 months ago), and am currently in Canada with a visitor status (1 year granted via extension). I did not include the open work permit (OWP) application with my PR application.
Now I wish to submit OWP application to minimize the time gap between AIP and OWP approval. I have some concerns as I am submitting two applications separately.
1. I found that people generally submit OWP application with PR application. As I am doing OWP separately, is there a chance that OWP application does not go together with PR and get rejected?
2. What are the ways to avoid the potential OWP rejection?
I appreciate any help!
