Open work permit extensionis

hello, I came here with two year course and changed it to three year course then. My husband is here with me in canada at open work permit. Now we need to extend my study permit and his open work permit . But we have one doubt about one question in application which states “ is your family member staying in canada for more than six month and has lived in one or more designated countries for more than six months in last year? Your family member’s stay starts on the day they entered canada and ends on the day they want to leave”. We are unsure about this question whether to answer yes or no. Also he has not left Canada from last two years.
