let me briefly summarize my situation so that maybe someone may shed some light on what might be going on.
I applied for inland spousal sponsorship family class on Feb of 2019 along with a open work permit application. I received my approved OWP in May of 2019 with a Dec 2019 expiration date. A month before it was due to expire i applied for an extension in November. After waiting 4 months for it to process, I receive a letter last week (March 2020)stating that it was “transferred to CIC Montreal for processing”
It doesn’t make sense that IRCC transfers a file after its been processing for that long.
Processing time online says 91 days and yet its been 115.
Does anyone have any clue on what might be going on?
Any opinions or help on this issue would be greatly appreciated
