Hi guys, I'm a temporary worker in Canada and my wife applied for an open work permit. She's a Brazilian citizen and has traveled to Canada before as a visitor (her passport has a TRV).
Her work permit was approved (her account has the approval letter and says an eTA was issued to her), but they never asked for a medical exam (it still says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes"), which is weird, as medical exams are required for Brazilian residents.
Should she get a medical exam even if they didn't ask for one, so she can show the receipt if they ask her at the border?
