Open work permit after arriving Canada

I am in Canada in a Skill job, since Jun 2012, my wife just arrived last month (dec), how can we apply for her open work permit in BC after 1 month she has been in the country? Thank you...

Apply for WP, attach copy of your WP and employer letter, copy of marriage certificate/common-declaration. She will probably get her WP with same expiry date as your WP.

I am filling my wife's open work permit application, i have few question, please help...

1) What option should i select for open work permit application:

a) An extension of a work permit with the same employer
b) A work permit with a new employer
c) Restoration of your status as a worker
d) An initial or an extension of a temporary resident permit

2) What employer information i need to fill as she don't have any job offer & she is not working currently, can i leave employment details blank ??

3) what document i need to submit with application ?? do i need to submit her education certificates & previous employment document's.

4) Do I need to submit any other application apart from IMM5710E ??

Please help i am struck...

R u using online application? For paper form from outside of Canada

There should be a list like:
"Open Work Permit"
Seasonal....
live-in care giver
other
international...
internaitonal...

Though your spouse is in Canada but on visitor status, she has to use "apply from outside of Canada"

I am going to Canada with my wife next month. She is a full time student and we both have temporary residence visa (TRV).
can I get "open work permit" upon arrival at the airport?
