Open permit for spouse

Hi guys. I applied student visa last may .no request for medical yet. Just the biometrics.. no approval yet. It is possible to apply my spouse while waiting for the approval?

Since you didn't apply together, you have to wait till you get your decision to apply. A SOWP can only be applied for (and approved) against a valid Study permit.
