I received a confirmation document online stating my application to extend my work permit (open permit) has been approved, and that they linked a new ETA to my passport. They also stated that they will mail my new permit to my address. My question is, can I travel outside of Canada before I receive the actual permit in the mail? Or can I just use the confirmation letter they gave me along with my passport that has the new ETA?
