Open bridge work permit

Hi all,

I arrived to quebec in octiber 2017 and currently working in montreal.

My application Express entry for Ontario was picked up in October 2018

Aor - 02 October 2018
RPRF- 14 November 2018
Expiry of current employer work permit- 29 Apr 2019

I am waiting for PPR

Can someone please guide/suggest

1) if I have to apply for a OPEN BRIDGE WORKPERMIT or should my employer file for work permit extension

2) Under OPEN BRIDGE WORK PERMIT, can I continue to work under my same employer after getting my PR

3) is it mandatory to transfer to Ontario IMMEDIATELY after I get my PR

Any advise will be really helpful.

Hey Nasar,

I am in sort of same situation. In the letter it is written that Bridge Open Work Permit is for people living in Canada but not Quebec. Could you please tell me how you tackled this situation? Would be grateful
