Open and detached bank statement

Hello Everyone,

I am inviting my sister to visit me and going to send down my savings account statement to her as part of the documents to file for visiting application. But on the CIC website it is stated that "bank statement must be open and detached"
What does it mean for bank statement to be open and detached?
