I have a typographical error in my birth certificate.

For example, my birth date is the first of January Two Thousand Fifteen (01/01/2015).

But on my birth certificate it says the first of January Two Thousand Fifteen (02/01/2015). That is, there's a typo in the digit for my day of birth.
I obtained a certified true copy with my day of birth amended.

Do you think that I can explain this case to the VO in a Letter of Explanation. Or is that alone not sufficient?
Please advise.
Cheers.

Re: Typographical mistake in birth certificate

birth certificate is not required for PR application in express entry.

I mean if you are applying as a single applicant. Birth certificate is used to prove dependent children's relationship with parents

This is not for EE itself, but rather I'm preparing the documents for OOPNP, where the birth certificate is required.
