Ok it's definitely moving. I just received a call from Ontario Immigration. The female agent was sweet and just asked one question about my intention to reside in Toronto or Ontario and what my plan was (I guess she was wondering why a US citizen want to immigrate to Canada).

Things are surely moving at OINP... ;D
Just received a call (about 15 minutes conversation) from one lady asking me details about the following:

- Job description of my actual work
- NOC number

Next step:
- She is going to send me an email requesting other documents.

Impatient d’avoir ce mail… et il faut tout envoyer par mail. Elle va mettre à jour mon dossier et ensuite envoyer l’application a un « Senior Officer »... Let’s hope for the best…

that's great news julientran & morice, must have been one of the most exciting phone calls you guys ever had in recent history! congrats! keep up the good news for us! this gives everybody great hope.

Just wanted to share with you that I received Nomination this morning . It was quite a surprise after 8 months of wait (App send in April).
After AOR, I have to go through :
- Bank draft rejected in october (2 month after AOR) (bank draft obtained from CIC bank)
- Then First postal order by La poste rejected as well (mistake in recipient)
- Then second postal order accepted.
- ADR for ECA
- ADR for Ties in Ontario and Proof of funds. I really try to spend some times on explaining why I want to settle in Ontario (No ties in Province) and ease the work for OINP analyst (provide an index for all the documents and so on...)

Suprisingly, I receive the nomination in 8 hours after submitting my doc by email !

Guys,

definitely movement on our stream. I have just received additional document request to explain what is perceived as overlapping activities between work experience and qualification. I am required to have full time employment with no extended leave and it seems to be inconsistent with studies. I have been doing a double master between ESIEE Paris and Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria while working as an engineer in Pretoria. it is a collaboration program between the two universities offered in Pretoria. the Pretoria program is a dissertation that did not require class attendance and the topic was chosen in line with my work. the French program consisted of 10 subjects offered in block courses of 3 weeks maximum where the lecturer will come from ESiEE and leaves after the exam. that is why the 18 month program(Master of Science in Electronic)took 4 years. my work payed for both degrees and was in line with their human capital development plan and was done during working hours between 2011 and 2015. They need supporting documents. What do you advise me to do?

the second request is to confirm my mailing address. maybe because I stay in Johannesburg but work in Pretoria. or maybe because my package was mailed from Montreal-Quebec when i sent it to my sister in order to put the Bank draft she ordered for me there and mail .t directly to OiNP instead of sending it to me to put in the package and mail it from here. that was to save time as I was getting near to exhaust the 45 days given to me post PT NoI.

I have 15 days to reply.

Ah tu penses qu'ils encaissent le paiement et qu'ensuite ils accusent réception ? Remarque c'est pas bête comme idée, et du coup c'est le temps d'encaissement de l'argent qui rallonge l'arrivée de l'AOR (sinon oui j'ai vu sur certains profils qu'ils avaient attendu + de 6 mois, perso j'en meurs !!! lol)

Normalement c est ca que se passe. Du dois comprendre qui ils ont applications de tous le monde. Des pais differents peuvent avoir une situation differente la. Donc avant commencer de travailler il veulenet recevoir d argent. Si ton application n est pas complete ils vont le rejeter tres vite.
Avant ils ont eu trop d applications donc pour ca certains sont recu leurs AORs si tard.
Pas de peur, donnes leur jusqu a la fin de cette annee.
