Hello everyone ,

I am beginning to loose hope. I am elegible under the French speaking stream but I have not gotten a NOI since early June when I received my Tef results (writing was clb 7 and the rest were 9&10). Having read your posts , I have recreated my profile twice since then , lastly on July 6th. I read of a couple of people who received their NOI s since that date , and I am thinking that I am either not lucky enough or I am doing something wrong or maybe the selection is not entirely random . Does anyone have any clues as to why I am not receaving a NOI . I have a BA & Masters degree and I have more than 20 years work experience . Truly my weak spot is my age , I am 45 .
By the way I read above someone advising to use the hyphen between the numbers to report the Tef results . Is that so ? I thought the instructions said to omit the hyphen and only write the numbers.

I wouldn't worry if I were you , 32 is perfect ! You will eventually receive the PT letter. I think I read somewhere that during this process the computer scans only information relevant to the eligibility criteria which
seems to imply that at this point the selection is random . Yet , when some people receive their pt within a week and others keep waiting , I just don't understand how this works .
A question to the candidates who received a pt in July , are you fluent French speakers ?

Should we put French as first language or main language of communication? Or that is irrelevant?

1st verify your 67 points in six selection factors

few advices :

1- make sure you activate your jobbank account ( without it no EOI from ontatio PNP )
2- ( I tested it ) put just 1 diploma BACH with ECA Bach ( Bach degree is sufficient even if you have studied more )
you let the automated sh*t process minimal information

PS : don't lie !

GL hope for the best !

Well I have the 67 and the job bank. But interesting enough I have an additional line where i have a non completed degree. Should I remove that? Should i recreate the profile? But if i remove that where would i put it? 2 years of study would they go in personal history?

Thanks.

Hello tanit
Thanks for the advice . My job bank account is active and I manage to score 68 points with English as my first language and my masters degree. That said I don't have luxury to omit one degree or to place French as my first language , because that would cost me several points. I can't figure out why some people get the notification and others don't , but timing seems to be somehow crucial , and that is probably why recreating the profile helps .

Guys I just remembered my passport expires in October this year. So you think the ontario system checks that for selection?

I hope they process applications according to the date they receive them . Anyway, Aishach, you are only technically 2 days behind me as I believe they did not have a look at my application on the 5th since it arrived after 16:15 . I will start counting my days from the 6th. Just hoping that when the last of human capital priority stream applicants (Mid February) are all processed, the processing time will accelerate a bit. Who knows, we might experience a faster processing than them as far as AOR is concerned. But I do not hold my breath. Like mkayy89 says , I would also be interested in hearing about fellows in the French Speaker's stream who have received an AOR after February 2016. I do not know about any whatsapp group.
Hang in there guys! The journey is still very long. Let's share our experiences and fill the time by encouraging each other while we wait.
